| | So I did what should have been my first blogworthy event in months a couple weekends ago. Took a trip to L.A. for a weekend. Except for one thing. Even though I was in a completely different location, I still didn't do anything intreresting. There ended up being a couple of factors that lead to this. First, the hotel I was in was too far from the city to actually enjoy L.A. Second, even though I am pretty much old enough to rent a car, I don't really like driving and I'm not that good at it, so I had no way of getting into the city except for public transportation, which took to long for my travel companion's (my sister) desires. And third, the weekend I was showing up, both the people I knew in the area just happened to be busy for almost the entire time. One couldn't see me at all, the other only on Sunday night, when there was really nothing to do. See, even when I try to do something exciting, everything comes out boring. Oh well. |
